I have become aware of at least two groups who are using my business name, R. Steven Chambers, PLLC, as part of what appears to me to be a loan scam. In the past two months I’ve been contacted by about six people, all from the Midwest or southern part of the country, who have obtained “loan agreements” with my name on them. These loans are supposedly arranged through Keystone Finance or Laura White.

FIRST: I am not affiliated in any way with ANY loan company.

SECONDLY: Beware of online loan scams in general. This one appears to be that the supposed lender, Keystone or Laura White, will arrange a loan of varying amounts  but a fee of several hundred dollars is required. I suspect, but don’t know, that once the fee is paid you will never hear from these people again. Here is a sample of the phony agreement:
